Skittermander Mystic
This was an illustration of a character I was going to play in a Starfinder game that didn’t get any further than session zero. Scheduling and health issues kept getting in the way.
Another victim of my curse. I need to learn not to draw characters before I actually get a chance to play them. Every time I do, it seems to jinx the game!
They were a skittermander mystic… I didn’t even get as far as picking a name. Names are hard.
I remember reading something about a spell where a bubble surrounds you so you can float through space. I thought that sounded cool. I also thought it sounded cool to have a character that looks sweet and wholesome and will pick flowers and be adorable, but also be pure chaos incarnate.
Even if the game didn’t pan out, this was a lot of fun to make. Life had been very stressful the previous year, and I didn’t have much time for art. I remember staying up late and sacrificing sleep on a work night to finish this.
