I haven’t had a lot of time for pixel art in recent years. The last time I was making a lot of pixel art was 2021. Here are some highlights from that era of my life.
This is Rosha. She’s a character I was playing in a D&D game at the time. I still really like this little goblin.
This is Mariana the mermaid, named by one of the people who was watching my stream. I originally streamed part of the process of making this on RPAN, because I wanted to try doing an art stream. I think 2020 and 2021 were kind of a cool era for streaming, because a lot of people were inside due to the pandemic. There were a lot of really cool musicians who started streaming when they couldn’t do live shows. And I think people having more time meant that more people were trying hobbies that they might not have had the time for normally. The pandemic was a bad situation, but it was kind of neat to see people making the most of it.
This one was kind of random. I was in a pretty good mood at the time and I had the idea of a demon with galaxy skin. Skimpy outfit, yeah, but I had to show off her galaxy skin. And it’s a scientific fact that demons like skimpy outfits.
